Winter in the Midwest is never easy on golfers. Fortunately, for Lexi Kilcoin and other junior players around the South Bend area, the Lifestyle Junior Golf Tour hosted several indoor tournaments on the simulators at The Blarney Stone.

Saint Joseph High School’s girls’ golf team saw its season come to an end at the Indiana High School Athletic Association Regional Tournament at Noble Hawk Golf Links in Kendallville, Ind., on Sept. 16.

Hard work pays off. Not that she needed it, but Lexi Kilcoin received affirmation of that adage when she was named the WHME TV-46 Student-Athlete of the Week on Aug. 17.
